Talk for the parents of the First Holy Communion Children on Tuesday 19^th of September at 7.30pm in the Community Hall, Miltown Malbay.

On this Sunday Brother Brian Johnson will speak at all masses about the work of the Franciscan Brothers.  The Brothers were founded in Galway in the early 1800’s and down the years have been involved in Education as a way out of poverty.  The brothers have missions in rural Kenya and Uganda.  Where they are involved on reaching out to people affected by famine and drought. Please be as generous as you can in our 2^nd collection on this weekend.

Kilmurry Ibrickane regained the Clare Senior Football Championship (after a 27 year lapse) with a 2 point win over Doonbeg in Cusack Park while in the curtain raiser to that game our Minor team claimed the County B title with a narrow win over Shannon Gaels.  The busses carrying those two victorious teams came up the hand hill on the evening of Sunday September 12^th 1993.  Approximately 30 years ago today!
