February 2nd, 2021Our Lady of Lourdes 9 Day Novena
February 1st, 2021As a lead up to the feast day of Our Lady of Lourdes on Thursday, 11 February, we will be holding a 9 Day Novena to support people within our local parish and beyond during this time of lockdown. We will start on Wednesday, 3 February at 5.30pm until 6.05pm. Each day we will include the individual prayers for each day and also some beautiful hymns. At 6pm each evening we will close with the Angelus. If you would like to include a prayer intention, please feel free to contact Edel on 085 237 1791. Each day will be recorded and available for play back.
Mary McMahon
January 30th, 2021The death has occurred of Mary McMahon (nee McMahon) better known as Mai, Clonkeen, Lisnagry, Co. Limerick and formerly of Ballymakea, Mullagh, Co. Clare on the 30th of January 2021, peacefully at University Hospital Limerick. Wife of the late Senan. Sadly missed by her loving daughter Mary Brigid, sisters Brigid, Carmel, Phil and Chrissie, brother Pat, brothers in law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends. Predeceased by her brother Micky Joe and sister Kitty.
Rest in peace
A private family funeral will take place, in accordance with current government and HSE guidelines at St Mary’s Church, Mullagh at 2pm on Monday 1st February 2021, followed by burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. January 28th, 2021Margaret Whelan (nee McNamara), Frayhane, Mullagh, Ennis, Co. Clare.
peacefully at St. Joseph’s Hospital Ennis.
Wife of the late Micko Whelan, in her 96th year.
Deeply regretted by her loving family, son Pat Whelan, Kilrush road Ennis and daughter Helen Whelan Manchester, daughter-in-law Mary Whelan, grandchild Caroline Glynn, Gort, great-grandchildren, Carragh, Aoibhinn and Donnacha, relatives, cousins, neighbours and friends.
Reunited with her beloved husband Micko Whelan, daughter, Marie O’Neill Manchester and grandson Paul Whelan Ennis,
predeceased also by her sister Kate Hennessey Carhugar, Lahinch.

Due to current guidelines a private Funeral Mass for Margaret will be celebrated in St. Mary’s Church, Mullagh on Sunday the 31st at 2pm followed by burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Margaret’s Funeral Mass can be viewed by logging onto www.kibparish.ie webcam.

January 26th, 2021Christopher (Christy) Kelly, Finure, Mullagh, in his 92nd year at Milford Care Centre, husband of the late Claire. Sadly missed by his daughters Pat, Claire & Geraldine, son John, daughter-in-law Loretto, grandchildren, Shane & David Kavanagh, Niamh, James & Sean Kelly, his brother Timmy, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, grand nephew & grand nieces, neighbours & many friends.

In accordance with current Government guidelines a private family Funeral Mass will take place on Friday 29th January at St. Mary’s Church, Mullagh at 1pm. with burial immediately afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
