The death has occurred Peacefully of John O’Dwyer, Ballard Road, Miltown Malbay and formerly of Ballymackea More, Quilty, (retired Garda Siochana). Predeceased by his parents Nicholas and Elizabeth, sister Maura, brothers Willie, M.J., Joe and Paschal.
Deeply regretted by his sisters Jane, Margarite, Agatha, brothers Eddie, Brendon and Gabriel, sisters in law, brothers in law, nieces and nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.
May his gentle soul Rest In Peace.
Arriving to the Star of the Sea Church, Quilty on Wednesday for Requiem Mass at 12 o’clock, with burial immediately afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

On this Wednesday night Bishop Fintan will commission a group of Cathecists and pastoral workers who will work in passing on the faith to the next generation and who will work in reaching out to the sick and vulnerable. We warmly congratulate our own Rita O’Dwyer who will be commissioned from our area and we wish her all the best and God’s blessing in her ministry.

PJ McCarthy, Killernan, Miltown Malbay, Co. Clare. 11th April 2022. Peacefully, surrounded by his family in Mowlam Nursing Home Kilrush. Predeceased by his wife Teresa. Sadly missed by his loving family, sons Patrick and Paul and daughter Mary (McMahon, Lissycasey) daughters in law Tara and Patsy, son in law Robert, grandchildren David, Jason, Aidan, Evan, Shane, Cillian and Ava. His sister Josephine Healy, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
May He Rest In Peace.
Reposing in Coore Church this Tuesday evening 12th April from 5pm with funeral prayers at 7pm. Funeral mass on Wednesday at 12 noon, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
