And so with the sunshine and the great bursts of leaves growing on the trees, just as things grow in fast movies, I had that familiar conviction that life was beginning over again with the summer…..

The death has occurred of Jean O’Boyle

(née O’Driscoll)Clonakilty, Cork / Castletownbere, Cork / Quilty, Clare

O’BOYLE (Castletownbere/Quilty/Redhill and Clonakilty): on July 25th 2024 in the presence of her loving children at Bushmount Nursing Home, Clonakilty. JEAN (nee O’Driscoll) beloved wife of the late Oliver, sister of the late Mary, Bridie, Nuala, Martin, Canice and Tony. Sadly missed by her heartbroken children Carol, John, Olivia, Sinead and Oliver, grandchildren Shaun, Tara, Shannon, Chloe, Hannah, Leah, Finn, Maximus, Harry, Rafferty, Roman, Conor, Harper and Troy, great-grandchildren Shae and Niamh, brothers Dick, Noel, Michael and Gerard, sister Sheila, daughters-in-law Nicola and Nicola, sons-in-law Tony, Ian and Elliot, granddaughter-in-law Billy-Jo, nieces, nephews, friends and neighbours.

Reposing in O’Sullivan’s Funeral Home, Clonakilty on Thursday, July 25th 2024, from 8.15pm to 9.15pm. Reposing in Star of the Sea Church, Quilty, Co. Clare on Friday, July 26th 2024, from 6pm to 7pm. Requiem Mass on Saturday, July 27th 2024, at 11am in Star of the Sea Church, Quilty. Funeral afterwards in the adjoining Cemetery.

A special word of thanks to the staff of Fuchsia House in Bushmount, who showed such amazing kindness to Jean. She really felt it.

The family ask that you take a moment to remember those who battle with Alzheimer’s and treat them with love, respect and gentleness.

Maureen Murphy (nee Harris)

July 18th, 2024

The death has occurred (peacefully) at home in the loving care of her family of Maureen Murphy (nee Harris), Ballymakea House, Mullagh, Co. Clare

and formerly of Donaghmede, Dublin, partner of John O’ Brien.

Predeceased by her parents Ned and Patti Harris and her brothers Davey, Patrick and Paul.

Sadly missed by her loving partner John (O’ Brien), sons Eddie, Fran, Graham and Paul, daughters Suzanne, Audrey, Gina and Debi, sons-in-law Gerard, Bart, Gavin and Barry, daughters-in-law Tracy, Sally and Louise, her adored grandchildren Jamie, Josh, Jordan, Ellie, Alex, Lucy, Harry, Abbi, Ella, Megan, Ben, Bradley, Aaron, Blake, louis, and Baxter, brothers, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.

May she rest in Peace.

Removal on Friday evening, 19th July, to St. Mary’s Church, Mullagh (Eircode V95 D429) for reposing there that evening from 7.00p.m. until 8.30p.m. Requiem Mass on Saturday, 20th July, in Mullagh Church at 12.30p.m. followed by Cremation Service in Shannon Crematorium at 3.00p.m.

Patrick (Pat) Talty

June 22nd, 2024

The death has occurred (peacefully) at University Hospital Limerick in his 85th year of Patrick (Pat) Talty, Doonogan P.O., Coore, Mullagh, Co. Clare.

predeceased by his parents Pat and Margaret (nee O’ Boyle),

his brothers John Tom, Michael Joe and Martin

and other deceased members.

Sadly missed by his brothers Tom (Castleconnell, Limerick) and Eugene (Birmingham, England), nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and great friends.

May he rest in Peace.

Reposing on this Monday evening, 24th June, in The Church of the Most Holy Redeemer, Coore (Eircode V95 RW84) from 6.00p.m. until 8.00p.m.

Requiem Mass on Tuesday 25th in Coore Church at 1.00p.m. followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
