“Conversations” on Aspects of Suicide in West Clare

Armada Hotel Spanish Point Wednesday 5th December at 7pm. WEST CLARE TAKING CARE has come together in response to the recent suicides in our communities.  For the past couple of months the group has been talking, researching and meeting to try to figure out how best to address the high level of deaths by suicide in West Clare.  The group would like to facilitate the provision of information on this subject to the communities.  To this end we are pleased to host this “Conversations” event. The evening will commence at 7pm with a display of stalls from the different services that offer support and information around this subject.  People can browse, ask questions and gather information.  Refreshments will be available. At 8pm the “Conversations” will begin with an introduction by the chairperson of WEST CLARE TAKING CARE, this will be followed by speakers from: 
The Samaritans – Gerry Dobbins
Pieta House – Tom McEvoy
Clare Suicide Bereavement Support Group – Owen O’Mahony
Each speaker will have approximately 15 minutes to speak.  When all have spoken there will be a questions and answers session which the audience is encouraged to participate in.

Brendan O’ Boyle

December 1st, 2012

The death has occurred of Brendan O’ Boyle, Ballina, County Tipperary
& formerly The Shop, Quilty.

Removal of remains to the Church of Our Lady and Saint Lua, Ballina on Wednesday 5th December arriving at 7.30 p.m.

Funeral Mass on Thursday 6th December at 10 a.m. with removal afterwards to the Star of the Sea Church, Quilty for Funeral Mass at 2 p.m.

Burial in Kilmurry cemetery.

May he rest in peace.
