Kilmurry Ibrickane regained the Clare Senior Football Championship (after a 27 year lapse) with a 2 point win over Doonbeg in Cusack Park while in the curtain raiser to that game our Minor team claimed the County B title with a narrow win over Shannon Gaels. The busses carrying those two victorious teams came up the hand hill on the evening of Sunday September 12th 1993. Approximately 30 years ago today!
