Mary Morrissey

Mary Morrissey, Clonadrum, Mullagh and formerly of Caherea, Lissycasey, on Tuesday 26th November 2024, at home, in the presence of her four loving children after a short illness, bravely borne.

Pre-deceased by her husband George, father Thomas, mother Ita and brother Johnny.

She will be deeply missed by her heartbroken sons Declan and Paul, daughters Lisa (Grehan) and Gina (Molloy), daughters-in-law Georgina and Marita, sons-in-law John and Ken, her eight adored grandchildren Dean, Chloe, Matthew, Lee, Megan, Dylan, Ella and Lauren, her much loved sisters Lucy (Galway), Margaret (Dublin) and Ita (Wicklow), sister-in-law Mary Flanagan (Toronto), extended family and friends, especially her dear neighbours and friends Gerry Moloney and Olive O’ Loughlin.

MAY HER GENTLE SOUL REST IN PEACE

Mary will be reposing in St, Mary’s Church, Mullagh, (Eircode V95 D429) on Wednesday, 27th November, from 6.00pm until 8.00pm.

Requiem Mass will take place on Thursday, 28th November at 12 noon, followed by burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

for those unable to attend.

The family would like to thank you for your sympathy and support at this difficult time. Mary was an exceptional lady who will be missed more than words can ever say.


Sheila Moloney nee Curran

The death has occurred of Sheila Moloney (nee Curran), Tromoroe West, Quilty and formerly of Coiscumeragh, Dromid, Co. Kerry.

Peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff in, University Hospital Limerick, surrounded by her loving family.

Predeceased by her loving husband Jackie, her brothers Sean, Michael and Paddy Curran.

Deeply missed by her sister Maureen (in Florida). Her sons Patrick, Aidan and Anthony, her daughters Maureen (Murphy), Anne (Hickey), Geraldine (Coughlan), Caroline (Lillis), Loretta (Burke) and Ellen (Martin). Her daughter-in-law Martina, sons-In-law Michael, Paul, Danny, George, Sean and Stephen and Anthony’s partner Charlotte, her twenty two grandchildren and her fifteen great-grandchildren, her sister-in-law Eileen McInerney, her nieces and nephews, her extended family in Kerry and America, neighbours and many friends.

Reposing in the Star of the Sea Church, Quilty, Co. Clare V95NY74 on Tuesday (19th November) from 5 pm to 7.30 pm. Funeral Mass on Wednesday (20th November) at 12 Noon, with interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

There will be a one way traffic system in operation, through the village towards Seafield.

Ar Dheis Dé Go Raibh a Anam Dilis.

Philomena Donnellan

The death has occurred of Philomena (Phil) Donnellan (née Flanagan) Wardstown Athboy, formerly of Moyglass, Mullagh, Ennis, Co. Clare. Peacefully in St. Elizabeth’s Nursing Home, Athboy surrounded by her family. Predeceased by her husband Thomas, parents Michael and Mary, sisters Maura, Bridget and Anna.

Sadly missed by her loving family, sons Gerard, Donal, daughter Mary, grandchildren Thomas, Daniel, son-in-law Colin, daughters-in-law Evelyn, Ailbhe, sister Rita and brother-in-law Senan, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

May Philomena Rest In Peace.

Reposing in Mullens Funeral Home, Athboy, Co. Meath (C15 KW58) Tuesday evening from 5pm until 7pm . Funeral Mass on Thursday at 12:30pm in St. Mary’s Church, Mullagh, Co. Clare (V95 D429) followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

Philomena’s family would like to give a special thanks to all the staff in St. Elizabeth’s Nursing home for their exceptional care and kindness shown towards them and their mother throughout her time with them.

P.J. O’Brien, Bonavilla, Mullagh, Co. Clare. husband of the late Ann (nee Carroll),  Peacefully at St. Dominic Savio Nursing Home, Liscannor.

Sadly missed by his loving sons Seamus (Birmingham) and John (Mullagh), daughter Ann (Birmingham), daughter-in-law Mary, his adored grandchildren Ellen and Megan, great-grandchildren Ayda, Nyla, Layla, Cyra and Rory, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.

May he rest in Peace.

Reposing at his residence in Bonavilla from 6.00pm on Wednesday

Reposing on this Thursday evening, 7th November, in St. Mary’s Church, Mullagh from 6.00p.m. until 7.30p.m.

Requiem Mass on Friday, 8th November, in Mullagh Church at 12.00 noon followed by burial in the adjoining extension cemetery.
